Preset gauge sizes
Section titled “Preset gauge sizes”The wizards honor the gauge’s size preset. When the active gauge has a Size preset set in its Gauge Settings, the wizard generates all its layers scaled to that real physical size, so there is no separate size selector in the wizard itself.
The radius settings remain editable even when a size preset is set, so you can still fine-tune your scales as usual.
Dual Scale and Dual Arc
Section titled “Dual Scale and Dual Arc”The two-scale options have clearer names: Double Scale and Double Arc are now Dual Scale and Dual Arc, and the setting that sets the gap between the two arcs is now Arc Spacing.
Text Spacing
Section titled “Text Spacing”The All Scales section has a new Text Spacing setting, which sets the distance between the tickmarks and the scale numbers.
It starts at a value proportional to the size of your gauge, so the scale numbers are already well positioned when the wizard runs, and you can adjust them from there without having to reposition the number rings by hand afterwards.
New pressure units
Section titled “New pressure units”mH₂O (meters head of water) and cmHg (centimeters of mercury) have been added to the Pressure wizard’s unit list, alongside the existing bar, x100kPa, psi, lb/in², Pa, kPa, MPa, mbar, mmHg, inHg, kg/cm² and inH₂O options.
Wizard gauges on the canvas
Section titled “Wizard gauges on the canvas”While a wizard is open, the wizard gauge shows a distinct border on the canvas, so it is clear you are looking at the wizard’s temporary overlay. When the wizard closes, the canvas returns to your previous zoom and pan position.
